Sometimes I definitly feel like there are no good or bad days, that days are simply a collage of diffrerent events throughout the day we either interpret to be good or bad. Yesterday was definitly bad; I got my period and felt like shit, slept through a meeting with my professor and the writing compentency exam (*smacks head*), didn't get to see Cabaret, and was in a bad mood until I went to bed.

Today I woke up feeling energized, hit the snooze for an extra 15 minutes, woke up to various music, and still made it to class on time... to watch a movie! After class I went to the coffeehouse and finally learned how to make certain drinks (including my free raspberry chai tea, yum). The people were really nice and I can't wait to go back next week. I had so much fun I stayed an extra hour! After lunch with Ariel I went to Evan's room to hang out and check my e-mail, webcomics, facebook, and LJ. ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE MINDS LEFT A COMMENT ON MY JOURNAL!!! :) That makes 3 bands that have checked out the All Good Girls Are PAGAN!!! LJ.

Now for the BAD part of my day... OK, Albion seriously needs to work on keeping freshmen informed. It's bad enough I ended up not being on the volleyball team cuz no one told me to download the health form off the webpage, but now I have a mark on my record. I felt like shit yesterday and slept through the writing compentancy exam. I e-mailed the woman in charge earler to tell her I wouldn't be able to make it but she didn't read her e-mail until today and sent me a pretty rude e-mail in response. I'M A FUCKING 1ST YEAR!!! How am I supposed to know how things work? I called both the English dept AND the writing center but both were busy. How am I supposed to know protocol for missing the exam?! I just wish the college would get off its ass and try to help people instead of just providing a web of extensions and e-mail addresses and leaving people in the dark.
