I'M DONE!!!!
Jun. 13th, 2004 05:33 amToday was my high school graduation. It was only 2 hours and was a pretty nice ceremony. We sat in alphabetical order (I was between Abbie and David) so there wasn't anyone for me to really talk to. I really wanted to go over to the end-of-the-alphabet section and hang out with Keren and Elektra.I think last year's graduation was a little nicer, it was at night and there was a reception after. After ours we just went to find our friends and family and kinda hung around.There was a lot of hugging.
I think my favorite part of the ceremony was when we all stood up and switched the tassles to the left (?) side. Well, of course I couldn't reah mine and I felt a little pressure on my cap. I looked up and Eric was switching my tassle for me and smiling. He's so cool, I sincerely hope we get to be better friends.
During the whole ceremony I was sitting there thinking "this is it, I'm graduating high school. After today I won't see most of these people again." The whole thing was kinda surreal. Well I have to get ready, tonight is the all-night party. Parents and staff keep telling us how important the all-night party is and how it's very emotional because it's the last time we'll all be together. I have to go pack a bag, ttyl.
