all hail the president of TeaBeeAy!
Jun. 21st, 2004 06:13 amToday I had a party for all my underclassmen friends I haven't seen since May. I rented "Dr. StrangeLove" but we ended up watching 4 hours of Furturama instead. Jeremy and AJ kept fighting which was funny cuz every couple of minutes one of them would be like "Hey, my glasses!" and they'd have to stop.
During the party I got the new issue of our school newspaper in the mail, which had the revised dress code. Th first article of banned clothing was sweatpants. AJ (who wears sweatpants everyday) got really upset and started yelling "Naked! They're forcing me to go to school naked!" I was VERY offended when they wrote no unusual hairstyles and in parentasis it said "e.g. mohawks" which was OBVIOUSLY aimed at Nathan! That was just plain rude. I am so glad I don't have to deal with Buckman anymore.
After everyone left (around 5, even though the party was supposed to end at 3)Caryn and I went for a "wiccan nature walk." We got caught in a torrential downpour on the way home! We walked around in the rain for a while, then we ran through a neighbor's sprinklers. We sloshed all the way home then she left. It's really sad to think about it but this was the last time we'll all be able to hang out together. Caryn's going to Italy for the summer (I'm SO jealous!), Tati and Aaron are moving to Arizona, Talya's switching schools, and I'm gonna be away at college. Our group is falling apart! Poor Caryn will be the only one going back to JAMD next year. I'm gonna miss them so much next year!
