Goth Night

It was actually Meghan's idea. We both (in addition to most of the freshman class) hate my roommate and thought it would be fun to scare her a little...she is so sheltered! She's been telling people she needs a new roommate and that we have nothing in common (she accidently told one of my friends, who told me). She also thinks I'm goth. I'm not. I'm not anything really, I detest labels so when people ask me what I am I always reply "I'm me." Meghan suggested we hold a "goth night" and all dress up and watch movies.

Yesterday after classes Ariel and her boyfriend and my boyfriend and me all went to the mall in Battle Creek. We started off in the Barnes and Noble (I got a kick ass forensics book and another book by David Sedaris) and eventually made it over to Hot Topic (hehe..Ariel's boyfriend was a hot topic virgin, mine had been there before). We spent way too much time in Hot Topic! They have a really nice clearance section so we spent the time there (I ended up spending more on the books than at Hot Topic!). I got a really cool pair of black and purple bondage pants and a purple fishnet shirt. Ariel got a ton of cool stuff too. I wanted to get semi-permanent red hair dye but didn't have enough on me :(

We came back and split into couples to eat dinner. After dinner my boyfriend and I went back to his room and took a nap together...at least we tried, he kept talking and waking me up. We then went to my room to set up. I got dressed (he really liked what I bought) and I helped him get ready. He was wearing his black anime shirt, green pants, another black t-shirt with blue dragons, and one of my chokers. He let me try putting eyeliner on him but he kept flinching so I took it off him. He let me put black lipstick and nail polish on him (he looked soooo hot!).

Ariel painted her nails too (it was kinda like one of those 6th grade sleepovers where everyone paints each other's nails...only cooler). Ariel took my camera and wanted to take a picture so I sat in my boyfriend's lap (in my roommate's chair...hehe). Then he kissed my cheek and all the lipstick came off, Ariel took a picture. Then I kissed his cheek and Ariel took a picture. It was fun. At midnight my boyfriend kissed me and wished me a happy 3 week anniversary (it's been 3 weeks already!!!)

We watched RHPS (complete with our audience participation), Beatles' Yellow Submarine, and some of Evil Dead before my roommate kicked us out (bitch). She claimed she couldn't find anywhere else to sleep, which is BS. I hate her.

After Yellow Submarine we all slept in Ariel and Jessie's room. My boyfriend and I slept on the zipped out sleeping bag again. This was either night 2 or 3 I slept over at Ariel's room. Lately I have only been in my room for a change of clothes or (attempting) hw. I'll be majorly pissed if I'm the one that gets kicked out.

Now that I'm done with the entry...hw calls (I wish I didn't have to answer)

My boyfriend has to stay home tonight. He went to his brothers' play and hockey game and I guess it's too late for him to come back. Damn, I was really looking forward to seeing him. Now I won't see him till tomorrow afternoon. I'll be sleeping on Ariel and Jessie's floor alone.

I swear I have separation anxiety...
