May. 15th, 2005 08:15 pmMy mom was cleaning up the basement a couple days ago and came across an old toy my dad bought at a garage sale for me. This "toy" was a little (working) sewing machine complete with fabric and instructions on how to make dolls.
I was appalled when I saw this. It's embarassing enough that I had an Easy-Bake oven, but now this? It's called a "Sew-Perfect" and I can't believe my dad thought I'd play with it!
I'm grateful that my mom threw it in the basement as soon as he bought it, but this is just another example of how I've strayed from how my parents wanted me to be.
