election day antics

I voted today (insert APPLAUSE here). I had to go to a Church near my house to do it, Churches make me kinda nervous. I was wearing my black pants with the zippers, my black and gray shirt with the dragons, my black jacket, and my skeleton gloves- I got a lot of weird looks from people. I was amused.

After voting I visited my high school. My mom called ahead and made sure it was ok, I told her it didn't matter and that most people wouldn't notice me there. I walked up to the front door and one of my friends opened it for me (gotta love their "security system"). I then walked right past the headmaster without him even noticing I wasn't supposed to be there (you'd think after all the time I spent in his office he's recognize me...). He noticed a minute later and called me by my sister's name. He cornered me and started asking a hundred questions about school, life, etc. I finally broke free and started searching for my friends. Turns out the headmaster wasn't the only one that didn't recognize me; 2 of my favorite teachers didn't recognize me either! Have I really changed that much since they last saw me 4 months ago?

My friends recognized me. They all ran up and hugged me, I nearly fell over! Caryn, K'tanaw, and I hung out till the dean made Caryn go to class. I brought my pics from Mexico and Halloween and showed them. They both think my boyfriend is really cute. If I can figure out how to post pictures I may post some of the Halloween ones...right now I have to figure out how to write a paper when the ONLY book on the topic is checked out of the library. Fun times.

To post pictures, you have to have your journal in Rich Text mode, then you just copy and paste the picture into the journal. At least, that's how I THINK I did it... It's always nice to see friends.
